Two Taos museums and others across New Mexico offer free admission to military personnel and family members, all summer through Labor Day A free Saturday morning arts program sounds perfect to keep youngsters creatively occupied in the snowy season! Kids are required to […] Here are two free opportunities for families to get tied up with string and applique themselves together… As part of the Taos Summer of Love, The Harwood Museum is hosting: Aug 15 – Saturday Arts Macrame Aug 22 – Saturday Arts Applique Times for both are 10 to 11:30 a.m. and all ages are welcome. On Saturday August 8 the Harwood Museum hosts a free 30 minute interactive yoga session for children in the soothingly divine Agnes Martin Gallery, followed by arts activities. Starts 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m, led by Jayne Schell for Lila Yoga and Art for kids. Meet Carlos Rael, retablos and bultos artist, on Saturday April 4 from noon to 2:00 pm at the Harwood Museum Shop, discussing his work as part of a Shop and Learn Trunk Show.
